What our members have earned

Every name here started where you are now, picking a competitive event and learning an industry well enough to brief a judge who works in it. Results run newest first, from the Regional conference up through state and the international conference. If you want your name on next year's list, the way in is the same for everyone.

How to read this

What these awards actually mean

  • Placing at Regional is how you advance to the state conference
  • Placing at state is how Kentucky's delegation to ICDC is chosen
  • An Award of Excellence at ICDC recognizes a strong overall score against the world
  • A top 10 finish at ICDC puts you on stage in front of the whole conference
  • Chapter awards are earned by the whole membership, not by one competitor

Several of these members started in a Principles of Business Administration event, which DECA writes for first-year members whatever grade you're in. Our event list shows all 60 events, and the resources page has what we use to prepare.
